28th February – NSW Greens direct action workshop for climate change – 9.30-4.00, 19 Eve St, Erskineville. Organised by Lee Rhiannon MP:

2009 is a crunch year for climate change campaigning.Instead of listening to community demands for real action on climate change, government leaders are facilitating massive growth of the coal industry.

A practical workshop on peaceful direct action including sessions on planning actions, legal rights, media for actions, group decision-making, role plays and story-telling from successful campaigns.

The workshop is free but registration is limited. Book early. RSVP to Linda Wilhelm at linda.wilhelm@parliament.nsw.gov.au or 9230 3551.
